The Opportunity



We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales professional who thrives in a varied and dynamic environment.

You will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and securing new clients, expanding relationships with existing customers, and managing and renegotiating annual contracts across the UK and internationally. Taking a proactive approach, you'll play a key role in promoting our services and increasing revenue in line with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities



Develop a deep understanding of our services and effectively communicate their value to prospective and existing clients Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across target sectors and geographies Manage, retain, and grow existing client accounts, including contract renewals and upselling additional services Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and tenders in collaboration with the wider team Represent Securewest at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings Maintain accurate records of sales activity and pipeline management using CRM systems Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform business development strategy

Essential Requirements



Proven track record in business development or B2B sales (minimum 2 years) Demonstrable success in securing new contracts and growing existing client accounts Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills Strong negotiation and influencing abilities Confident presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal Self-motivated with a proactive approach to identifying and converting opportunities Working knowledge of CRM systems and sales reporting Right to work in the UK Basic DBS check required prior to starting employment
