Business Development Manager

Base location: Hybrid working with expectation of minimum 1 day per week in Reading office

What is the Role?
Working alongside the Wholesale Sales Manager, the successful candidates will be focused on driving new business and bringing new logos into the business. The candidates will be focused heavily on outbound sales prospecting, including an expectation of cold calling and other outbound activity.
Working closely with the marketing team, the candidates will also be expected to qualify and ultimately close inbound leads, with the view of building an account base over time.
A successful candidate will work towards KPI's and targets focused on positive new business activity and will be expected to hold regular meetings with the sales manager to track activity levels and put action plans in place to grow the companies Channel account base.

What do I need?Proven years' experience selling telecoms (DIA, Ethernet and Optical) into a traditional channel space, working closely with MSP's, Resellers and VAR's. Cold calling experience in the telecoms industry with proven track records of success in onboarding net new business. Ideally, a list of contacts and accounts in the industry that could be migrated across quickly to work with Neos A proven track record of qualifying and converting sales leads through a funnel, from initial reach out to conversion. An excellent understanding of the Channel market, telecoms and products that Neos sell Ability to work with executive level internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment around opportunities Forecasting accuracy, ideally with Salesforce or a similar CRM, through the sales cycle of Channel partners
