Based at six UK locations, we provide Wholesale, distribution, specialist E&I inspection, maintenance and project services to all parts of the Offshore & Onshore Energy sector, Pharmaceutical, Marine and many other industries. As Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing our new Teesside branch while nurturing and developing opportunities for our wholesale team by engaging with new and key clients while promoting our company's capabilities and values.

Key Responsibilities:




Expand the customer base by identifying and securing new business opportunities, markets, products, and partnerships Develop and nurture relationships with existing customers Expand the customer base by identifying and securing new business opportunities, markets, products, and partnerships Deliver sales and margins in line with branch and individual targets Collaborate with the Branch Manager on budgets, projects, and contract submissions Create and execute business plans aligned with company strategy Attend and network at industry events to raise the profile of Dron & Dickson Promote products, manufacturers, and our Engineering Services division Support internal sales teams and ensure customer requirements are met Ensure all required reports relevant to the position are submitted promptly Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and produce required reports promptly Work closely with the Marketing team to identify opportunities and assist with content creation Take a proactive approach to continuous improvement within our Integrated Management System (IMS) Comply with all HSEQ policies and procedures, ensuring a safe workplace

Qualifications & Experience:




Minimum National 5 or equivalent CompEx Foundation (desirable) but not essential Full UK Driving Licence Knowledge of Ex and Industrial Lighting, relevant Product Types, and Manufacturer portfolio
