We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, strategic planning, and customer relationship management. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver exceptional solutions.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve company objectives. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Utilize externally generated leads, track sales activities, and analyze performance metrics. Collaborate with our marketing team to create effective campaigns that drive lead generation. Conduct negotiations with potential clients to secure contracts and agreements that align with company goals. Assist the contracts team in ensuring client relationships are maintained on projects from initiation through completion. Provide regular reports on business development activities, market trends, and competitive analysis to senior management.

Requirements



Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within the construction industry. Strong communication and relationship building skills. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers effectively. Self motivated with a strategic mindset and proactive approach to sales. Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and identify growth opportunities. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Join us as we continue to grow our business and make an impact in the industry! Comfortable working with CRM systems (Glenigans) to track activities and opportunities. Good team ethics and ability to liaise with our Commercial and Contracting departments. Full, clean UK driving licence and ability to travel to client, networking and site locations.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,500.00-50,000.00 per year
