About This Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Manager to join our Transactional Banking Solutions (TBS) team and support the Managing Director (MD). Here, you'll apply your expertise to enhance operational efficiency, foster innovation, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the organisation.

What youll be doing:

  • Strategic Leadership Support: Support the MD and SLT in shaping and driving the growth strategy, using substantial business opportunities; act as the MDs first point of contact and represent them in key meetings.
  • Analytical and Strategic Delivery: Produce key outputs such as strategy papers and committee presentations, and facilitating timely, robust decision-making.
  • Engagement and Influence: Build and maintain strong partner networks to influence the strategic agenda, enhance the business area's profile, and ensure effective coordination of interlock sessions with critical partners.
  • Communication and Organisational Alignment: Evolve and deliver our communication strategy; ensure team compliance with organisational design, be responsible for recruitment, and communicate the Groups Ways of Working strategy and updates.
  • Operational Efficiency and Support Routing: Handle central support requests, identify relevant champions within the business, and ensure smooth coordination across teams and initiatives.
  • Culture and Relationship Building: Champion a positive working environment by resolving issues and delivering agreed initiatives; actively form relationships with the SLT, wider CSG teams, and partners across CIB and the Group, with a focus on improving culture.

What youll need:
  • Experience: Youll possess a robust network across the broader BCB and CIB businesses, demonstrating shown ability in a similar role.
  • Strategic and Analytical Approach: Strong ability to support senior leadership in shaping business strategy, backed by excellent analytical skills to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Confident in preparing strategic documents and presentations, experience of representing senior leaders optimally in high-level meetings.
  • Engagement Expertise: Validated experience in building influential networks and coordinating across complementary teams to align on strategic goals.
  • Operational and Organisational Know-How: Skilled in running internal communications, recruitment processes, and ensuring compliance with frameworks.
  • Understanding and knowledge: Youll have a deep understanding of Transaction Banking Product sets, as well as the working capital challenges and requirements of our clients.
  • Culture Builder: A collaborative approach to fostering a positive team culture, with the shown ability to build trusted relationships across leadership and wider business units.
