Quantum Scholars are currently working alongside asecondary school in Basingstoke who are seeking a driven and dedicated Business Teacher to join their staff from September 2025.

About the Role

The school is looking for a dynamic and committed Business Teacher who can inspire and motivate students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will deliver engaging, challenging, and well-structured lessons that foster a love for learning and prepare students for success in exams and future careers.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality Business Studies lessons across KS3 and KS4 Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives Monitor, assess, and report on student progress and attainment Create a supportive and positive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and achievement Contribute to the ongoing development of the Business department, including extracurricular activities and enrichment opportunities Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote best practices in teaching and learning Maintain up-to-date subject knowledge and participate in continuing professional development
Requirements:



The ideal candidate will have:


Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent A degree in Business, Economics, or a related subject Experience teaching Business Studies at secondary school level A track record of raising student achievement and delivering high-quality outcomes Excellent classroom management and communication skills A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people The ability to inspire, challenge, and support students of all abilities Available to start in September 2025
