About the role
As Christmas approaches, we are looking for additional team members. As a
Butchery Office Administrator
, you will be part of a warm and friendly team working in a fast-paced environment. Within the office you will play a vital role supporting the team and have the ability to demonstrate and understand the requirement for high standards of customer service. You will be focused on team participation and collaboration and can identify solutions when recognising potential problems. You will ensure that your communication is effective and timely whilst being polite and purposeful.
Responsibilities will include:
Order collation and boxing
Traceability for Audits
Investigation into missing orders using CCTV.
Supporting the construction of effective working rotas
Booking in of deliveries from suppliers
Placing of orders for packaging, seasonings etc
Effective communication with customers and representatives of Pilgrim Foodservice.
Effective intake of deliveries
Assist Butchery Manager in pricing & submitting relevant documentation in a timely manner
Assist with stocktakes
Maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external business associates
When required, supporting the Butchery Manager by deputising all admin tasks
The successful candidate will have:
Good attention to detail and high standards of accuracy
Good written skills and basic computer admin skills
Ability to work as part of a fast-paced butchery environment
Positive and calm approach to work
Resilience of working within a fast-paced environment which includes frozen, chilled and ambient goods
Good written and verbal communication skills producing legible and accurate paperwork
Strong personal qualities aligned with our values and a calm approach to work
