Buyer, Estimator And Marketing Position
Job Description
A unique opportunity has opened at Adrian Morrison and Son with a hybrid role becoming available. We are looking for a motivated Assistant Estimator, Buyer and Marketer to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with prior estimating, buying and marketing experience to develop their skills in a specialist sector, with full training provided.
As an Assistant Estimator, Buyer and marketer, you will support the management team in preparing accurate cost estimates and tenders for a variety of different projects. You will also be required to work closely with management to maintain and improve marketing. While agricultural and plant hire experience is advantageous, it is not essential as comprehensive training is provided to help you succeed.
Key Responsibilities of this role to include;
Assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and tender submissions Reviewing project specifications, drawings, and contract documents Sourcing and liaising with suppliers and subcontractors. Supporting site visits and project assessments as required Helping to identify cost-saving and value engineering opportunities. Maintaining the Healthy and Safety policy as well as updating generic risk assessments and site-specific risk assessments. Organising training for members of staff Social Media and Media updates
The ideal applicant will possess;
Previous estimating experience (essential) NEBOSH Health and Safety Certification or equivalent (not essential) Strong numerical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail Excellent communication and organisational abilities A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude. Competency in Microsoft Office and estimating software (training provided)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: 23,000.00-30,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
