bench joiners / cabinet makers

to join our talented team at our modern, well-equipped workshop in Glossop.

The Role:

As a

bench joiner / cabinet maker

, you will take ownership of projects, ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship. Working closely with the machinery and finishing teams, you will produce truly bespoke furniture and joinery, using the finest materials.

Your responsibilities will include:

Reading and interpreting CAD drawings

to plan and execute projects.

Machining and preparing

high-quality materials, including European Oak, Walnut, Maple and veneers.

Hand-finishing and bespoke detailing

where required.

Precision assembly

, ensuring doors, drawers, and components fit perfectly.

Fitting hardware

and ensuring all mechanisms function smoothly.

Final quality control

alongside the workshop supervisor.

Preparing items for finishing

, ensuring seamless handover to the finishing team.

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking

experienced and skilled craftsmen

with a keen eye for detail and a passion for high-end joinery. The ideal candidate will have:

Proven

experience in cabinet making and bench joinery

, ideally within the luxury market. Strong ability to

read and work from technical drawings

. Expertise in using

woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools

. Experience with

veneering

(advantageous but not essential). Excellent

attention to detail and precision

in all aspects of work. Ability to

work independently and as part of a team

. Strong

problem-solving skills

and a proactive approach. A desire to

continuously learn and improve

.

Working Hours:

Monday - Thursday:

7:00 am - 4:30 pm

Friday:

7:00 am - 1:30 pm

Overtime available during busy periods
