Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and a passion for creating high-quality cabinetry. This role involves the fabrication and assembly of cabinets, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of craftsmanship and quality. The Cabinet Maker will work closely with other tradespeople and contribute to various projects, showcasing their expertise in carpentry and joinery.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble cabinets according to specifications and design plans. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to achieve precise cuts and finishes. Perform joinery tasks, ensuring all joints are secure and aesthetically pleasing. Collaborate with team members on larger construction projects, providing support where necessary. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist with heavy lifting and the transportation of materials as required. Engage in construction painting, ensuring all surfaces are finished to a high standard. Demonstrate knowledge of plumbing, masonry, roofing, and electrical experience when applicable to projects.

Requirements

Proven experience in cabinet making or a related field is essential. Strong skills in fabrication, assembly, carpentry, and joinery. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in woodworking. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Familiarity with construction painting techniques is advantageous. Basic knowledge of plumbing, masonry, roofing, or electrical work would be beneficial. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
