We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team, responsible for crafting high-quality cabinets and furniture pieces. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in woodworking and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that each piece meets our high standards of craftsmanship. This role requires proficiency in various fabrication and assembly techniques, as well as the ability to work with both hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble cabinets and furniture according to specifications and design plans. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to shape, cut, and join materials. Perform joinery tasks to create strong, durable connections between components. Ensure all finished products meet quality standards through thorough inspection. Collaborate with other team members on larger projects, providing support in various construction tasks. Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Assist with heavy lifting of materials and finished products as required. Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in carpentry and related fields.

Skills

Proficient in fabrication techniques for wood and other materials. Strong assembly skills with an understanding of joinery methods. Experience using hand tools such as chisels, saws, and drills. Knowledge of power tools including routers, sanders, and saws. Familiarity with carpentry principles and practices. Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding work in a workshop environment. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
