Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and a passion for creating high-quality cabinetry. This role involves both the fabrication and assembly of cabinets, ensuring that all products meet our high standards of craftsmanship. The Cabinet Maker will work closely with designers and clients to bring their visions to life, utilising various hand and power tools.

Duties

Fabricate custom cabinets according to specifications and design plans Assemble cabinet components with precision, ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic appeal Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for cutting, shaping, and finishing wood Perform joinery techniques to create strong connections between pieces of cabinetry Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times Collaborate with team members on projects, providing input on design feasibility and construction methods Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards Assist in the installation of cabinets on-site as required

Experience

Proven experience in carpentry or cabinet making is essential Familiarity with fabrication techniques and assembly processes is highly desirable Proficiency in using hand tools such as chisels, saws, and drills, as well as power tools like routers and sanders Knowledge of roofing, plumbing, masonry, or electrical work would be advantageous but not mandatory Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during the construction process Experience in construction painting is a plus
