We are looking for an experienced Cafe manager with customer service ideally within a restaurant/cafe setting, to join our progressive and motivated team at The Cricketers on the Green, located in the beautiful village of Pirbright and walking distance to Brookwood train station.
Our wonderful Yurt Cafe situated in the rear garden of the Cricketers, offers a fantastic selection of artisan coffee, herbaceous tea's freshly baked cakes and pastries. It's a unique environment for guest to have a full English or something lighter.
The Cricketers offers a great menu with fine and hearty food created by our chefs from ethically sourced menus, and a variety of handpicked wines, beers and spirits perfectly poured by our bartenders, an extensive wine list and a range of beer and craft ales.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations and ensure the cafe runs smoothly and efficiently.
Lead and inspire the cafe team, providing ongoing support and development.
Maintain high standards of food, beverage, and service quality.
Manage stock ordering, inventory, and supplier relationships.
Drive food-led sales through new product ideas, displays, and seasonal offers.
Ensure excellent presentation, hygiene, and compliance with health & safety regulations.
Create a welcoming environment for all customers, handling feedback and complaints professionally.
Collaborate with the wider Cricketers on the Green team to support events and special promotions.

What we need from you
Previous experience in hospitality or a customer facing role
Over the age of 18 due to the sale of alcohol
