We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring a welcoming environment for both customers and staff. This role requires a blend of culinary expertise and management capabilities, as you will be responsible for supervising the kitchen team, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering exceptional service.

Duties

Manage all aspects of cafe operations, including staff supervision, customer service, and food production. Lead and motivate a team of cooks and service staff to deliver high-quality food and service. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining strict food safety standards. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels. Develop menus in collaboration with the kitchen team, focusing on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Train new staff members on cafe procedures, food preparation techniques, and customer service standards. Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures to enhance profitability. Foster a positive working environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.

Requirements

Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team. Experience in food production and kitchen operations is essential. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a cafe or restaurant setting. Level 3 in Food Safety Qualification Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. A passion for hospitality with a commitment to providing outstanding customer experiences. Ability to work 3 weekends out of 4.
