Responsibilities

Serve customers promptly and courteously, taking orders accurately Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages, including coffee, tea, and light snacks Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including tables, counters, and equipment Ensure compliance with food safety standards at all times Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or salads Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to create a safe environment for staff and customers

Skills

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Barista experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Experience in serving customers in a hospitality setting Basic food preparation skills for quick-service items Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and balancing tills Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently and maintain workflow during peak hours
