We are looking for an energetic and reliable Barista/Bar Staff member to join our team for a few shifts a week. This is a great opportunity for someone seeking flexible hours with cash-in-hand payment for each shift.

As a crucial part of our hospitality service, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences while serving a variety of beverages and food items. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry, excellent time management skills, and a knack for upselling to enhance the overall dining experience.

Duties

Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and maintain cleanliness in the bar area. Assist with food preparation and presentation as required, ensuring high standards are upheld. Engage with guests to provide outstanding customer service and address any inquiries or concerns. Utilise basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately. Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Maintain stock levels and assist with inventory management as needed. Preparing and serving a wide range of beverages, including specialty coffee, espresso drinks, non-alcoholic drinks, and alcoholic beverages.

Requirements

Previous experience in a bar or cafe setting is preferred, showcasing your hospitality skills. Experience in food preparation or culinary roles is advantageous. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent guest service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. Basic math skills for handling payments and processing orders accurately. A proactive attitude towards upselling products to enhance customer experiences. Pay: 12.21-12.31 per hour
