Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to standards. Assist in the planning and execution of menus, ensuring ingredients are utilised effectively. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, ensuring all food safety regulations are followed. Collaborate with other staff to ensure efficient meal service and timely delivery of orders. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed. Help train new staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols. Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, improvements, and team performance.

Experience

Previous experience as a Cook or in a similar culinary role is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation. Familiarity with food safety practices and health regulations within a restaurant environment. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate clearly with colleagues. A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
