Job Summary
We are currently looking for an experienced cafe chef who can cope with a fast paced kitchen, preparing, cooking and presenting a wide range of breakfast and lunch time dishes. We require someone who can cope well under pressure, turning breakfast and lunch time items around to cope with all online platforms.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of meals. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely service. Monitor food quality during preparation and cooking processes to guarantee the best possible dining experience. Serve meals to customers, ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Participate in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
Requirements
Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential, with culinary experience preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Experience in restaurant settings is advantageous but not mandatory. A passion for cooking and serving high-quality food is essential.

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour
