This is a big one. We're on the lookout for a confident, experienced General Manager to lead the cafe team at LISBOA -- someone who can grab this bull by the horns and steer our busy, much-loved cafe with heart, skill, and high standards.
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the cafe, leading a team, keeping service smooth, quality high, and customers happy. We need a strong operator, a great communicator, and someone who's not afraid to roll up their sleeves.
What you'll do:
Lead daily cafe operations with confidence and care
Manage rotas, stock, suppliers, ordering and waste
Support, train and motivate a passionate team
Ensure quality and consistency in both service and food
Handle customer queries with warmth and professionalism
Take ownership of performance, cost controls and budgets
Work closely with the kitchen team and directors to grow the business
What you'll bring:
A proven background in hospitality management (restaurant, cafe or hotel)
Experience in food production and service
Strong leadership and people skills
A calm head in a fast-paced environment
A genuine passion for food, service and delivering great customer experiences
An eye for detail and a high standard of cleanliness
Bonus: barista and/or bar experience
