We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food service, ensuring that our cafe runs smoothly while providing exceptional customer experiences. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise cafe staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas. Oversee food production processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest culinary standards. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimising waste. Develop and implement training programs for new staff on food preparation techniques and customer service skills. Create and maintain menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfaction with our services. Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and cost control measures.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a managerial role within a cafe, restaurant, or hotel setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and culinary practices. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food production processes. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality service standards. Previous experience in supervising kitchen operations is highly desirable. A passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
