We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage cafe staff, including baristas and kitchen personnel Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and safety Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the cafe Train and mentor team members on food safety, customer service, and operational procedures Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed Create staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours Develop and implement promotional strategies to enhance cafe offerings Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a cafe or restaurant setting Strong supervisory experience with the ability to lead a diverse team Excellent team management skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction Culinary experience with knowledge of food production techniques Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices Previous kitchen experience is essential; hotel or barista experience is advantageous Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff effectively
