We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cafe Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cafe. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the culinary arts, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and high-quality food. This role requires a blend of management expertise, culinary knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining food safety standards.

Duties

Supervise daily cafe operations, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction. Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff and front-of-house employees, fostering a positive work environment. Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring adherence to culinary standards and food safety regulations. Develop and implement menus that reflect current trends while catering to customer preferences. Maintain inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while managing costs effectively. Train new staff in kitchen procedures, customer service protocols, and health and safety practices. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for resolution to enhance guest experience. Collaborate with the marketing team to promote special events or menu items to attract new customers.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team. Culinary background with knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential.
