Manager Position

We are a vibrant, busy, customer-focused cafe committed to delivering quality food, Nespresso coffee and service in a warm, welcoming environment.

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Cafe Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth, successful operation of the cafe.

As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, motivating and supporting staff, maintaining high standards in food and customer service, and ensuring the cafe is run with efficiency, cleanliness, and professionalism. This is a hands-on role that requires experience both on the floor and in the kitchen, with strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

The cafe menu consists of a range of fresh fillings, salad, homemade soups, toasted sandwiches and a selection of fried food. The cafe also caters for the in house events which is pre ordered. It is important that the manager has experience working in both front and back of house in order to fully understand all that is required from the job. Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within a cafe, restaurant, or hotel environment is essential. Must have experience working in cafe / bistro kitchens and also front of house Strong background in kitchen operations, including food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the hospitality industry. A passion for food and beverage service, with an understanding of current culinary trends.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.75-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
