Duties

Supervise daily cafe operations, ensuring smooth service and customer satisfaction. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, adhering to food safety regulations. Provide Hospitality catering for events to a high standard Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain optimal stock. Train, mentor, and lead cafe staff, fostering a positive team environment. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of all areas. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to enhance guest experiences. Maintain compliance with health and safety standards in all aspects of cafe operations. Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive service delivery.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or cafe industry. Strong culinary skills with experience in food production and preparation. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management. Previous experience in hospitality is advantageous. Barista experience is preferred, along with an understanding of coffee preparation techniques. Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers alike. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
