Cafe Manager

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cafe Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in hospitality, and a keen understanding of food preparation and safety. As the Cafe Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring that our cafe runs smoothly while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of cafe operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service. Lead and motivate a team of kitchen and front-of-house staff to deliver outstanding service. Oversee food preparation and production processes to ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment while adhering to health and safety standards. Train new staff in culinary techniques, hospitality practices, and operational procedures. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints with professionalism and care. Monitor stock levels of food supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain optimal inventory.

Requirements

Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or food service industry. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and staff alike. A passion for delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends as required by cafe operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 28,000.00-30,000.00 per year
