Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operations Support: Help with the day-to-day cafe operations, from working in the cafes to onboarding staff members. You'll ensure everything runs like a well-oiled machine, contributing to the cafe's focused and friendly vibe.
Customer Service Excellence: Make customers feel welcome through exceptional service! Your friendly approach will make visitors feel at home and encourage them to return for more
Team Collaboration: Work closely with our coffee shop crew to create seamless teamwork. Communication is key--you'll need to coordinate with managers, baristas, and bakers to tackle any challenges that come your way.
Travel Flexibility: Be ready to hit the road! You may need to travel to different locations for covering shifts, exciting off-site events, coffee training, and more. Your adaptability will be a big asset as our operations grow.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Systems & IT:
Keep track of Health & Safety in the shops
Onboard team members
Collect necessary documents from new hires
Shift Work:
Be ready to cover vacant shifts and update the rota.
Be the go-to person for daily cafe questions via phone or Slack.
Ensure everything runs smoothly and tackle any issues that pop up.
Work three shifts a week in the cafe, including weekend shifts.
Point of Contact:
Serve as the key contact for any POS software and hardware issues.
Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers while keeping an eye out for the best prices.
Inform the accounts team of any changes in supplier prices.
Handle refunds and returns as needed.
Monitoring:
Keep tabs on cafe maintenance, logging and scheduling trades when necessary.
Track staff discounts and lunches, making sure to keep records.
Monitor and update standing orders across cafe locations
Ensure cafe spreadsheets are up-to-date (temperature checks, cleaning schedules, etc.).
Lead coffee training sessions as the head barista, ensuring quality and speed.
Check daily emails from all cafe sites and manage them accordingly.
Keep an eye on weekly food wastage to stay within targets.
Add and monitor new coffee and bakery items on till systems as needed.
Essential Qualifications:
Previous experience in a cafe or restaurant setting is essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Work in the cafes
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
Full UK driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
