We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving food and beverages. You will play a crucial part in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers, ensuring that their experience is enjoyable and memorable.
Duties
Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverage items in accordance with established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the cafe area, including dining spaces, kitchen, and equipment.
Adhere to food safety regulations to ensure the highest quality of service and hygiene.
Operate coffee machines and other equipment efficiently, demonstrating barista skills when necessary.
Take customer orders accurately, providing recommendations as needed.
Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as required.
Skills
Strong understanding of food safety practices to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Must have worked with a coffee Machine
3 years previous experience is essential; training will be provided.
Proficiency in serving food and beverages with attention to detail.
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and managing orders effectively.
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks during peak hours efficiently.
