Job Description

We're looking for a Campsite Assistant to work at Low Wray Campsite. This role is all about making sure that people have their best possible experience of an outdoor holiday with the National Trust.

Hours:

37.5 hours a week (full time). 5 days a week, including weekend working.

Duration:

Fixed Term Contract until 2 November 2025

Salary:

12.75 an hour

Interview date:

Week commencing 9th June


Internally, within the National Trust, you'll be known as an 'Outdoors Holidays Operations Assistant'.

What you'll be doing:You'll help to keep the campsite and bunkhouse clean, well-maintained and welcoming for all guests. This includes practical tasks like cleaning and basic maintenance, reporting any repairs needed and generally being a friendly contact for everyone staying here.


You'll be greeting people, helping with their bookings and dealing helpfully with their enquiries or complaints. You'll also help to run the campsite shop when needed. Everything you do day-to-day will make a big difference to someone's holiday, and help to make things run smoothly and to the standard that guests expect from the National Trust.
