Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Canine Hydrotherapist to join our veterinary wellness centre. This role involves providing specialised hydrotherapy treatments to dogs, supporting their recovery and overall well-being. The successful candidate will possess a genuine love for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Prior veterinary experience and animal care knowledge are highly desirable.

Duties

Conduct hydrotherapy sessions for canine patients, ensuring safety and comfort throughout each treatment Monitor and assess the progress of dogs undergoing therapy, adjusting techniques as necessary Maintain detailed records of treatments, progress notes, and client communications Inform owners on post-treatment care and answer any questions regarding therapy procedures Ensure the works areas (Hydrotherapy Pool, Underwater Treadmill area) are kept clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards Work and support the complete Rehab team on a typical working day

Requirements

Canine Hydrotherapy Level 3 or Level 4 Strong commitment to animal welfare and compassionate approach towards canine patients Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with pet owners and clients Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling equipment or assisting with animals Organised with attention to detail in maintaining accurate records and adhering to protocols Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to work scheduled shifts that may include weekends or early mornings if required

Pay: 24,420.00-32,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 21 - 40 per week
