About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and driven

Canvassing Manager

to lead our field sales team at Fast Glass Midlands Ltd. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in the field, leads by example, and knows how to get results. You will be responsible for managing the daily performance of our canvassing team, generating quality appointments with domestic homeowners for window, door, and conservatory repairs--primarily the replacement of failed or broken sealed units.

Key Responsibilities

Morning Launch & Team Briefing

Deliver structured morning meetings including training, motivation, and daily targets. Review previous day's performance and provide feedback. Field Leadership & Area Planning Strategically select and assign areas for canvassing. Work actively in the field alongside the team, setting the standard for professionalism, performance, and attitude. Monitor and drive individual and team performance throughout the day. Appointment Generation Engage directly with domestic homeowners to book high-quality appointments. Ensure the team are meeting daily and weekly appointment targets. End-of-Day Debriefing Return to office with the team for structured debriefs. Evaluate results, address challenges, and set clear goals for the following day. Recruitment & Team Development Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new field staff. Provide ongoing training, coaching, and performance management. Admin & Appointment Management Confirm new appointments and follow up on outstanding or unconfirmed leads. Ensure CRM or booking systems are kept up to date with accurate information.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in field sales or canvassing, ideally within home improvement or related sectors. Leadership experience with the ability to motivate, train and manage a team. Strong communication skills and a confident, persuasive approach. High personal standards with a 'lead from the front' mentality. Ability to plan strategically and adapt quickly based on results. Organised, reliable, and target-driven.

Pay: 24,420.00-80,796.96 per year
