Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Service Manager to join our Cardiology department.



This is a unique opportunity to lead and manage the coordination of Cardiac Physiology services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This role is pivotal in supporting the clinical team by efficiently managing resources and driving operational improvements.



This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the delivery of cardiology services at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.



You will be part of a supportive team dedicated to improving patient outcomes and operational efficiency. This is a pilot role with the potential to become a substantive position based on the success of the initiative on each clinical and performance outcome.

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

Lead the onboarding of new physiologists and support the clinical leads in delivering a new workforce strategy focused on recruitment and retention. Drive Dm01 recovery and waiting times reduction. Manage and lead the rota allocation for all Cardiac Physiology services. Support the remodelling of service provision across the organization, aiming to reduce high-value locum and agency costs. Ensure data accuracy and compliance with national and regional databases, coordinating data collection and submissions. Act as the Staff Council Coordinator, facilitating effective communication and collaboration between staff and leadership.
