At Walfinch, we are committed to providing outstanding care and support to enable people to live independently in their own homes. We are currently looking for an experienced Care Coordinator to take charge of a fast growing client and carer schedule across West and South Hertfordshire.
The role is based in our Head Office in St Albans with hybrid working also available. We are looking for someone vibrant with excellent communication skills who has a solid understanding of what it means to deliver outstanding care in the community.

Elements of the role:
- Organising rotas in the most efficient way possible, taking account of locations, continuity of care, travel times and specialist skills to ensure we consistently deliver the best care possible.
- Responding quickly to changes throughout the day to ensure our service is maintained.
- Ensuring planning systems are kept up to date
- Assisting with business development and recruitment
- Acting as a first point of contact for carers and clients. Ensure phone calls are answered promptly and professionally.
Requirements
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on empathy and understanding.
Proficiency in using office software and electronic health record systems preferably Birdie.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in client care.
Relevant qualifications or training in healthcare or social services would be advantageous but not essential.
Hold a full UK driving license with access to a car for work
