Care Home - Receptionist

Location:

Penwortham Grange & Lodge Care Home - Martin Field Road, Penwortham, Preston, Lancashire, PR1 9HL

Salary:

12.21 per hour

Schedule/Hours:

20 hours per week. This would include alternate weekends. Shift times to be discussed at interview.

Purpose of the role:

We are looking for a receptionist to join our dedicated team within Penwortham Grange and Lodge. As the first face that visitors will see and the first voice they will hear you'll play a vital role in making them feel welcome, valued and supported.

About the role:

You will be responsible for welcoming visitors into the care home and handling telephone calls in a friendly, professional and efficient manner. You'll direct visitors and calls to the right people and assist the administrator and the Home Manager with general duties as and when required.

What we are looking for:

Good numerical and word processing skills



Strong communication and organisational abilities



Friendly, confident and well-presented



Professional telephone manner



Genuine interest in working within a caring environment
