Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Support Worker to provide essential support and care to individuals with a learning disability. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our service users by assisting them in daily activities, promoting independence, and ensuring their safety and well-being. This position requires a patient and empathetic individual who is committed to making a positive impact in the lives of those they support.
Duties
Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
Assist with meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met.
Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
Implement behaviour management strategies as needed to support clients effectively.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in behaviour or health status.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to develop and implement care plans.
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a trusting relationship.
Ensure a clean and safe living environment for clients.
We require full flexibility which will require the need to work days, nights, weekends and bank holidays. Please note that we operate on a 12 hour shift basis.
