We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive kitchen experience and a strong background in food production and preparation. As a Chef, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food safety, and delivering exceptional dining experiences that reflect our commitment to hospitality.
Responsibilities
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure quality and consistency in all dishes served.
Develop new recipes and menu items that align with seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and kitchen operations.
Collaborate with management on inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing food costs effectively.
Ensure timely service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
Engage with guests to receive feedback on dishes and enhance their dining experience.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the restaurant industry.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail in both food preparation and presentation.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences for guests.
