Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 37hr pr/w, Flexi as long as completed 7.24hrs and logged on core times 10am - 3pm
Full-time attendance is required for the duration of training. Hybrid working can only be permitted once approved by the manager and when they are satisfied that the candidate is ready to do so.

List the duties of the role:
The Status Review Unit carries out complex investigations to protect the integrity of the UK immigration system. As a Caseworker, you will assess whether individuals have obtained or retained immigration status through fraud, deception, or changes in circumstances, and make clear, high?quality decisions based on evidence.

• Manage and progress your own caseload, completing investigations thoroughly and on time.
• Gather and analyse evidence using a range of intelligence tools and systems.
• Conduct investigative interviews where required.
• Make well?reasoned, defensible decisions on immigration status.
• Draft clear, high?quality decision letters.
• Stay up to date with relevant legislation, rules and policy.
• Work collaboratively across the unit and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Maintain high professional standards and handle sensitive information securely.

Training:
No annual leave during training period. Initial 2-weeks classroom training (potentially virtual) with ongoing mentor support until signed off to complete decisions independently.
Clearance level (to be applied for by Brook Street upon a successful application):
SC + Basic DBS
Role specific requirements:
You must hold a valid passport and must have lived in the UK for longer than 5 years. Please note that period of 6 months or longer spent outside of the UK in the last 5 years will unfortunately not be accepted. This role requires security clearance that will be processed for you, if successful.
