To take responsibility for the primary front counter support for in-person and over the phone transactions and to ensure excellent customer service and administrative efficiency.
Hours:
Zero Hours Contract. Shifts are allocated on a rota system with Casual staff covering evenings (including weekends) and Saturday daytime, as well as occasional weekday daytime shifts to provide cover as needed.

Responsibilities:
Acting as a primary contact for all customer and visitor service enquiries / complaints and issues relating to ticket sales, and other enquiries and purchases (including shop, membership and donations). Maintain high levels of customer service both face to face and by phone. Endeavour to maintain the same high levels during technical difficulties and always put the customers first
Support the Marketing and Audiences Manager in driving sales, encouraging repeat bookings, promoting membership and patronage and broadening audience & customer engagement.
Support the Marketing and Audiences Manager in the effective, compliant and safe management and filing of customer information (in compliance with the data protection act and The Spring's document retention policy), financial record keeping and receipts, through a strict regime of rigorous checks and filing. Liaise and support the finance department to assist with sales or takings discrepancies as required.
Carry out cash up of box office tills (EPOS Till and Ticket Till) at the end of the shift using the cash up procedures and lock cash tin and change bag away before leaving.
To answer telephone calls and deal with all enquiries efficiently
Take pride in the workplace ensuring a clean and tidy front desk reception.
Welcome and sign in visiting contractors
Manage both incoming and outgoing post
Oversee the safety of customers, visitors, staff and assets by ensuring that all safety and security rules are adhered to by all staff and visitors
Providing emergency cover when necessary
To manage the phone system, including updating messages when required
Other Duties:
Perform general administrative duties
Work with the rest of the staff to ensure The Spring provides an excellent experience for all customers
Perform other duties as may from time to time be reasonably required by the Marketing and Audiences Manager.
Abide by The Spring's policies and procedures
Attend regular staff meetings
