What you will be doing:



Support work isn't just making cups of tea and personal care. It is about enhancing the lives for people living with emotional, physical and sometimes complex disabilities. At Insignia Healthcare Group we believe that everyone has the right to live a fulfilling life and reach their full potential. Although a good cup of tea does go a long way!!

We have three young children within the Lowestoft & Great Yarmouth area that require support with their complex clinical needs as well as their overall health and well-being.

The first child is a young 10year old girl who has clinical needs including; Larsen's Syndrome, Non-invasive ventilation and Gastrostomy feeding. She has 11hr waking night shifts on a 1:1 staffing ratio. She lives at home with mum, dad, two brothers and the family dog called fudge, in Gorleston-on-Sea. She enjoys reading stories, watching films and playing with her pets.

The second child is a young 3 year old boy who has clinical needs including; NG tube feeding, Seizures and Oxygen requirements. He has waking night shifts (22:00 - 07:00) twice a week on a 1:1 staffing ratio. He lives at home in Lowestoft with mum, dad, his older sister, older brother and a range of animals including dogs, cats & guinea pigs. He enjoys sensory play indoors and out, loves spending time with his animals and adventures in the community.

The third child is a 15 year old girl who has clinical needs including: H.I.E, Gastrostomy feeding and Physiotherapy. Her night shifts again waking are (20:00 - 08:00). She lives within an adapted annex attached the family home in Corton, Lowestoft with her sister having parental responsibilities. She enjoys watching films, music videos, sensory play and spending time at the arcades.

There is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this post to be female in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Equality Act 2010.*
