We are looking for an individual with an engaging personality and a natural ability to build strong relationships to join our gym team at Chelmsford Sport and Athletics Centre. The successful applicants will join our team of gym instructors delivering the high level of customer service our users expect whilst conducting inductions and assessments and supporting our members to achieve their fitness goals.

Applicants must have excellent interpersonal and customer care skills and a high level of enthusiasm and must be qualified to a minimum Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification (whilst working towards the Level 3 in Personal Training qualification). Duties will include personal fitness programmes, fitness assessments, retention, delivering group exercise classes as per your qualifications and the day-to-day operations of the gym floor.

The position is offered on a casual basis to cover the opening hours of Chelmsford Sports and Athletics Centre, from 6.30am to 10.00pm, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
