Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and friendly Casual Tea Room Staff to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests while providing excellent service. Your responsibilities will include assisting with meal preparation, serving customers, and ensuring the tea room operates smoothly. Duties

Greet and serve guests with a warm and friendly attitude. Assist in meal preparation and food presentation to ensure high standards of quality. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the tea room, including tables, kitchen areas, and equipment. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. Support kitchen staff with food preparation tasks as needed. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards. Assist in managing deliveries and ensuring timely service to guests. Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional guest services.

Skills

Strong phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries effectively. Experience in kitchen operations or food preparation is advantageous. Excellent guest service skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Previous experience in a restaurant or front of house setting is desirable. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Flexibility to adapt to various tasks as required by the tea room operations.
Casual staff wanted on a temporary basis until end september/October when we tend to quieten down

Your role will be to help out wherever needed but mostly front of house, dishwasher, some kitchen prep.

Hours:-

Saturday 10.30am til 1.30pm (this may change to the needs of the business)

Pay: 8.00-12.21 per hour
