Join our team as a Catering Assistant for Sunday shifts in Scarborough, United Kingdom! We're looking for an enthusiastic individual to support our catering operations and ensure exceptional service to our customers.
Assist in food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients
Set up and maintain the service counter, ensuring they are well-stocked and presentable
Serve food to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
Keep the kitchen clean and tiny
Help with inventory management and restocking supplies
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service delivery
Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times
Qualifications
Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Good time management and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
Flexibility to work on Sundays and during various event schedules
Prior experience in food service or catering is preferred
