About the role and the Team:





We are looking for a CDM Projects Coordinator who goes beyond the expected. CDM Projects Coordinator is to help develop robust systems for ensuring compliance with the CDM regulations.



You will be a key player within the Hyperoptic's Planning and Innovation team, working alongside various engineering departments embedding standards and maintaining reasonable assurance of contractors, and direct labour including appointed Principal Designers / Principal Contractor and will provide subject matter expertise and regulatory advice to our front-line project managers, area deployment managers and procurement teams.


What will you be doing?




Assist and support CDM Manager Help develop and establish the roles as defined by the Construction (Design and management) Regulations 2015 Assist with Formulating policies and procedures. You should implement Health and Safety procedures and ensure that these comply with the law. Assist with compiling and developing of Design Risk Assessments, pre-construction information and Health and Safety File on completion Construction Design Management. To make sure that the company complies to its clients and the HSE under CDM regulations. This will also include documenting all meetings, raising F10's and the closing of the diary at the end of the build area or contract. Conduct risk assessments. These highlight the areas of potential risk that you must reduce. Train all employees in your health and safety procedures. You should also give proper training on the particular risks in their area of work, and how they can prevent these. Conduct frequent safety inspections and checks. This is especially important for things like CDM documentation and CDM compliance on site.

What we are looking for?:




NEBOSH Certified or equivalent experience - Desirable Driver with own vechicle required - Car allowance included in package Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team Commercial awareness and ability to identify, develop and grow effective relationships with key stakeholders and client A strong safety background, preferably in the telecoms, utilities, or IT sectors Excellent communications, interpersonal and presentation skills to influence internal and external stakeholders A total awareness and understanding of current health and safety procedure for working in the UK is essential. Knowledge of JIRA or similar ticketing system is an advantage. Ability to draw together different technical disciplines with attention to detail and accuracy coupled with a 'can do' attitude
