We are seeking a dynamic Projects Coordinator to join the Projects team.
As the Projects Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role supporting the planning, execution, and delivery of Metrolink projects, assisting Project Managers in compliance with the Keolis Amey Metrolink Project Manager Systems (PMS).
This role is ideal to those with experience in a construction delivery environment, although this is not essential. Strong skills in stakeholder coordination and ability to adapt to and manage outputs based on various processes is essential, as well as experience in, or training in working with a Project Management System.
The Projects Co-Ordinator will support the Projects Team in the delivery of projects and the life cycle management of these projects through the PMS, as well aiding the department in attaining performance and commercial objectives.

Key accountabilities will include:
Support the delivery team undertaking of KAM-led projects
Comply with relevant policies, regulations, and standards including the KAM Project Management System (PMS).
Work with the HSE team to appreciate requirements of Projects delivery with respect to CDM Compliance & Safety Culture
Support the delivery team in ensuring the completion all necessary progress and projects documentation, and associated tracking and recording of this documentation, such as risk & issues registers, lessons and success registers and safety & quality performance metrics.
Support the delivery team in maintaining cost tracking and budget management of projects, ensuring compliance with internal and external set standards and procedures.
Support the delivery team is management and transmittal of documents through internal and external document portals.
Risk & issues recording and analysis, working with the team to manage and minimise commercial, programme and safety risks.
Ensure own health, safety, and wellbeing in the workplace, ensuring the zero harm principles and just culture is demonstrated in all ways of working.
What you'll bring:
Hold a relevant qualification in engineering, finance, construction, transport or project management or demonstrable relevant project management experience
Experience in a construction project management environment, ideally in rail/light rail, is advantageous but not essential
A Project Management qualification, or working towards a qualification, and membership of a professional body
Ability to competently produce formal projects documentation, as well as any supporting documentation as necessary. (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio etc)
Experience working with SharePoint
Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Proactive, highly motivated and with the capability to form effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across organisational boundaries
Good organisational and time management skills
Flexible approach, you can adapt to your situation to get the best results
Results focused with a passion for supporting the team in delivering projects on time and working as part of an awesome team
