We are seeking a CDP Chef to join our small team in a traditional country pub setting. The ideal candidate will have a background in food preparation in a similar setting and a keen understanding of food safety standards.
We have a seasonal menu with regular specials, all prepared in house.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications.
Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen.
Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings.
Skills
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Experience working in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.
