We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background and a commitment to food safety and quality. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring that all meals are of the highest standard, and contributing to an enjoyable dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Assist in the planning of menus, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and seasonal ingredients. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in the kitchen at all times. Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared efficiently and presented beautifully. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service periods. Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as necessary. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, helping them develop their culinary skills. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen environment.

Experience

Previous experience as a Chef in a restaurant or similar kitchen environment is essential. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary preparation. Proficiency in various cooking techniques and methods, with a passion for creating high-quality meals. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to help others in the kitchen as needed. A culinary qualification or relevant training is advantageous but not mandatory.
