We are seeking a passionate and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef, you will play a vital role in maintaining the quality of our kitchen operations and ensuring that all meals are prepared to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook high-quality meals in accordance with the restaurant's menu and standards. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Create new recipes and menu items that reflect current culinary trends. Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety practices. Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary arts, and food safety standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members. Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred but not essential.
