Description



Apple's Cellular DAS team is seeking talented, highly motivated, and disciplined project manager to work in a cross-functional environment to deliver cellular solutions. Cellular Technologies Project Managers are responsible for the day-to-day delivery and operations of multiple concurrent cellular DAS and lab projects globally.



Managing multiple concurrent projects requires a comfort level communicating clearly and collaborating with test engineers, Facilities PMs, electricians, network planners and external vendors for design, implementation and maintenance of labs and cellular DAS projects. The position will require require the delivery of all critical milestones throughout the project life cycle including project definition, design, deployment, commissioning, optimization and operation. This position requires the applicant to be very comfortable working across multiple disciplines.




Domestic and international travel will be required. ","responsibilities":"Cellular DAS Deployment:

Prime architect for the design of Cellular DAS

Cellular communications subject matter expert (SME) and cross-functional team member for Apple project implementations in corporate, retail and events spaces.

Management and oversight of system implementation subcontractors and integrators.

Subject matter expert for DAS commissioning and optimization.

Directly responsible individual (DRI) for on-going DAS operation and maintenance.

Cellular Lab Management:

Facilitating the intake of lab test plans and actualizing those with RF test environments to satisfy the requests.

Driving efficiency and continual improvements in methodology and equipment.

Driving software engineering debug and troubleshooting sessions at the physical layer.

Vendor Management:

Responsible for creating and driving product requirements definitions (PRD).

Responsible for defining project scope, soliciting, reviewing and accepting technical and commercial proposals.

Key contributor for product performance assessment and product feedback loop to both approved and potential vendors.

Mobile Network Operator Liaison:

Establishing indoor and lab cell site build plans and plans of record (POR).

Managing the implementation and launch of mobile network operator services.

Coordinating mobile network operator upgrades and on-going maintenance activities.







Preferred Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in relevant field is preferred.

Proven project management experience.

Knowledge and experience with cellular equipment installations and construction management.

Experience in lab environments with knowledge of RF shielding enclosures and chambers.

Adept at using creative and innovative thinking to solve problems.

Proven ability to work independently and also collaborate effectively within a team.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Highly motivated and self-directed, with flexibility to switch between multiple tasks.



Minimum Qualifications



Extensive experience with cellular DAS and RF distribution systems, spectrum analysis and RF signal modulation.

Familiarity with cellular radio access network (RAN) equipment and understanding of cellular network architecture.

Hands on experience delivering RF solutions and the capability to troubleshoot RF system issues.

Proven experience with DAS and/or cellular test lab environments.
