Garage Manager

to drive performance, deliver excellent customer service, and keep operations running smoothly.

About the Role:

As Garage Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the branch, ensuring high standards in customer care, team management, and workshop efficiency. From handling bookings and parts to overseeing technicians and MOT testers, this is a hands-on leadership role with real impact.

Your Main Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations of the garage, including staff, workload, and customer interactions Maintain excellent service standards and resolve any customer issues promptly Ensure all work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard Monitor performance and productivity, identifying ways to improve efficiency Support the team in achieving sales targets and upselling additional services Handle parts ordering, stock control, and supplier coordination Ensure compliance with health & safety and MOT/VOSA regulations

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in the motor trade, ideally in a management or supervisory role Strong mechanical knowledge (a qualified technician is a bonus but not essential) Confident leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team Excellent customer service and communication skills Organised, proactive, and hands-on approach to running a busy garage Full UK driving licence
