Chartered Structural Engineer

Salary:

60,000 - 80,000 per year (dependent on experience)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated

Chartered Structural Engineer

to join a growing engineering consultancy in Stockton-on-Tees. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of challenging projects from concept through to completion, making full use of advanced design software such as Tekla, Autodesk, AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Civil 3D.

The Candidate

Must be a

Chartered Engineer

with a recognised institution (e.g., CEng MICE, MIStructE, or equivalent). Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field. Minimum 5 years of relevant structural engineering experience. Proficient in any of the few Tekla, Autodesk, AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and Civil 3D. Strong working knowledge of Eurocodes and British Standards. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Proven project management ability with a track record of delivering projects on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of high-quality structural design solutions for a diverse range of projects. Manage and oversee projects from inception through to completion, liaising directly with clients and stakeholders. Produce and check calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports. Ensure all work complies with industry standards, codes of practice, and safety regulations. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians. Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices within the team.
