On The Hoof is a family-run, Texan inspired food business serving up bold flavours and big portions with heart. Our passion lies in authentic Texas style barbecue, Neapolitan style pizza cooked in our incredible Marano rotating oven, and a brunch menu crafted from the finest local ingredients.
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Chef to join our small but mighty team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, has a love for smoky meats and crispy pizzas, and enjoys delivering great food experiences with consistency and pride.
Alongside our regular weekend service, we also cater for weddings and unique private events, bringing our signature fire-cooked flavour to unforgettable celebrations.

What We're Looking For:
Experience in a professional kitchen (BBQ/grill/pizza experience a plus)
Weekend availability - essential
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate - essential
Confident leadership skills - ability to lead and support a small team
Pizza trained or
willing to learn
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Calm under pressure with a real passion for quality food
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Cooking and prepping Texas BBQ and Neapolitan Pizza with skill, care and an attention to quality.
Leading service and maintaining pace during busy shifts
Managing food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness, and food safety procedures
Assisting with stock rotation, ordering, and menu development
Supporting junior staff and maintaining a positive team atmosphere
